From Lhasa to Kathmandu

Day 1


Bus broke down on the way to Shigatse


Traffic jam


Even the headlight falls apart


Day 2





Stunning mountains along the whole way


Many small Tibetan settlements


Beijing "BJC" Jeep


Farmer tractor on a dusty road

Day 3


Waiting for a farmer tractor to pick me up (and the goods behind...)


But the driver is only ten years old


Arriving to a Tibetan family, and they are celebrating a wedding.


Day 4


First snow encounter in Tibet. Bad weather made every driver worries. And I have no chance to get a glimspe of Everest





Landcruiser and Pajero, returning to Lhasa from Kodari, Nepal


Brake is overheated. Not a surprise as we have been down climbing for over 4000 meters


Tires are worn-off
